What is it? Electronic Sports World Cup, ESWC began in 2003. In a short span of 5 years, the conceptualiser, GAMES SERVICES FRANCE are the epitome of people who live the 'indie' spirit - doing what they love most without compromise.

Go International Group is the organiser and Malaysian license owner for ESWC 2008 Malaysia. Launched on 6 May 2008, ESWC Malaysia 2008 is on a road trip! Look out for us and our two cute mascots - New Beetles cars at 9 selected LAN shop locations around the country. The search culminates at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur at the Indie Youth Festival 2008 from 4th to 6th July 2008. Loads of activities, games, fun, 2 concerts, short film competition, cartoonists, prizes and more await visitors! So help us spread the message to your friends! All are invited and it's FREE!

The Quest. To seek for that team of Malaysian Gamers to represent us at the ESWC Grand Finals in San Jose, USA from 24-27 August 2008.

Why participate? This year is particularly interesting because it will be the first time ever that ESWC Grand Finals is held outside France. Plus, the 3-day event runs alongside NVIDIA's NVISION 2008 visual computing festival. In addition, you'll be amongst those participating in a Guinness Book of Record breaking attempt for the largest LAN PARTY IN THE WORLD! The current record is held by Dreamhack with 7,800 PCs hooked up!

ESWC is one of the most exciting, entertaining and renowned e-sports event in the world! The four disciplines shortlisted for the Malaysian National Qualifiers are as follows:
